Small Dog Section to Re-Open... Temporarily

The City of Orange notified Sandy Norrell, President of the Orange Dog Park Association that, due to construction and contractor problems, they will temporarily re-open the small dog section of the larger, Orange Dog Park.
Two messages were transmitted to the ODPA:
"The small dog area of the dog park has been closed for the past 10 days anticipating the installation/replacement of a fence and some earthwork. The earthwork was completed, however the fence contractor has failed to complete his work as scheduled. I have had staff secure the fence line with temporary construction fencing in order to open the area until further notice of the contractor's schedule. Please inform anyone who inquires, that the area will be open effective immediately, but we anticipate another closure next week pending the contractor's ability to complete the work. Please extend my apology to all of the dogs and their owners."
And...
"The fence contractor is now scheduled to install the fence on Monday and Tuesday. The small dog area will have to be closed on those two days as well as Wednesday. It may be able to be open Tuesday afternoon if the fence is completed by then".
