The Orange Dog Park Association announced, today, that they will have a guest speaker, Stephanie Houfek for the March General Meeting.
As a canine behaviorist, Stephanie has prided herself in teaching pet parents the art of willing cooperation through Amichien bonding, a training process developed by Jan Fennell. This unique training method allows pet parents to best understand their dogs by first understanding their dog's language. By teaching willing cooperation methodology the dog will work with their pet parent because they first respect them as the leader of their pack. How wonderful to have your dog work with you because they respect you, thus wanting to please you. Stephanie has been teaching pets and their parents for 5 years. She is a member of Therapy Dogs International, visits hospitals and hospices and works in animal rescue. Stephanie can be reached at TheDogLstnr@aol.com
Topic: "Best Behaviors in the Dog Park".
This class is going to help you have the best experience when taking your dog to the Orange Dog Park. What are considered good manners, what will cause a dog to fight, how to best enter and exit the park, etc. Stephanie will also be available to answer specific dog behavior questions.
This meeting will be on
Saturday, Mar. 18, at 9:00 a.m.
