Phase II of Seeding Project Begins Soon

- The DIRT sections will be closed and seeded (anticipated closure 3-4 months)
- The ENTIRE dog park will be watered via sprinklers at least 2x/day
- READ signs posted by the city for the watering schedule and other details
- SMALL PARK PATRONS need to bring their own water during the temporary dirt closure

If everyone brings their dogs it could be a bit distracting, so if possible, please leave your dogs at home for the meeting, however...
... if you have to bring your pet,

The Dog Park will be
Closed each Wednesday for maintenance
Dog Park remains open every day (except Wednesdays) during the Holidays
|
NOTICE:
Bowls and other personal items will be removed by the Parks Department if still in the park by Wednesday!
As the notice on the fences at the Park specifies, until more benches are installed, chairs can be brought into the Park and left as long as they are lined up along the fence that separates the Large and Small dog sections. This must be done EACH and EVERY night, not just on Tuesdays before the Wednesday closure.

Dog Park Rules
Official Rules - City Ordinances
Please, note the following rules and reminders:
- The hours are from 7:00 a.m. until dusk each day
- No Aggressive Dogs Allowed!
- Dogs in "heat" are not allowed
- Dogs MUST REMAIN ON LEASH until inside the double-gated area (between the inner and outer gates)
- Dogs MUST BE OFF LEASH while inside the Dog Park -- REMOVE the leash when entering the double-gated area and REPLACE it when leaving while in between the gates
- NO FOOD is allowed inside the Dog Park
- You are welcome to bring lawn chairs to the park, however please do not leave them there. The maintenance crew has requested that those visiting the park please take their lawn chairs with them when they leave. We cannot leave chairs at the park when it is closed
